South Tipperary Drugs Outreach
Overview
The Drugs Outreach project provides 1-1 support for individuals struggling with substance misuse, inclusive of alcohol, drugs and gambling. The service supports the individual in exploring change and reducing the harm that they may be causing to themselves through substance misuse.Individuals must be 13 y/o and over, and consent to engagement. Parental consent is required for under 18y/o.The project works very closely with other drug services, which may be of support to the individual also, and referrals can be made if appropriate and agreed. Individuals can self- refer, be referred by family/friends or another service via phone, email and/or a referral form. The project also offers support to individuals (family and friends) directly affected by a loved ones substance misuse, provided that there is no conflict of interest. The service primarily is located in Clonmel, but Cashel, Carrick and Cahir can be serviced where required.
